What is "functional first" fitness? I strongly believe that all human bodies should be able to perform functional movement patterns with ease before approaching a more challenging training plan. Research indicates there are 7 movements that directly indicate the longevity of your quality of life.

In my functional first training style, you will master these fundamental bodyweight movements before adding variety or weight to increase the challenge.

What about functional fitness as it translates to athletic strength & conditioning? Functional athletic training involves specifying your routines to the movement patterns of your sport. Core stability, balance, lateral movement, unilateral 

movement, speed, strength, and power are just a few examples of targeted functional areas for athletes. Most athletic pursuits have about 80% crossover in training function and the final 20% will be targeted to your specific needs and goals.


I currently offer both local and remote personal training options to help you reach your goals at your preferred level of social distancing. I hold multiple certifications in strength sports, yoga, and nutritional guidance for athletes (see the COACH page for specifics). All training plans and pricing are listed below.

This package is for those who are ready to get serious about making a life change. Whatever your goal, it is recommended to commit to a minimum of 3 months on this structured plan to get the best possible results under Amanda's guidance. With this package, you receive:

- Weekly meal planning telling you exactly what, when, and how much to eat

- Unlimited coach support via phone/email/video

- FaceBook accountability group for community support

- Weekly 30m strategy meetings to review progress and goals

REMOTE TRAINING

"PLEDGE" PERSONAL TRAINING PACKAGE - $115/month
This is an affordable, comprehensive coaching package that includes accountability meetings with your coach. With this package, you receive:

- Weekly workout plan with 4 customized workouts / week

- Two 30m strategy meetings/month

- 1 new macronutrient profile/month + limited planning support on calculating macros

 

MONTHLY WORKOUT PROGRAMMING - $75/month
